Department of Mathematics

The department has at present 13 energetic and dedicated faculty members in many diverse areas of mathematics and it also boasts of hosting visits of a good number of distinguished mathematicians every year. The department has also been actively engaged in organizing conferences, work shop, bridge course and training programs for staffs and students are including mathematics training and soft skills.

Goal

Students should understand mathematical concepts, symbols and procedures and are able to apply them to real world situations.

Objective

The primary objective of our mathematics department is to build positive and permanent impact on the quality of mathematics equations. And to emphasizes the student’s knowledge to face the needs of the society.

The department of mathematics aspires to the highest standards of excellence in teaching and service. We will be a source for the promotion of problem solving analytical thinking, utilizing technology, and build upon its strengths for development of graduate programs in the field of mathematics.
